The magic city, as it is adorably called by its admirers, Miami is truly a traveler delight. House to about five million people, this coastal city along the Atlantic is located southeast of Florida. The residential area of the Coral Gables, the Venetian Pool was originally a rock quarry, which was later made into a pool that is inspired by the Venetian lagoons. The pool is adorned by Spanish buildings, a garden terrace and a cavern.

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, is an art museum maintained by Dade County Park and Recreation Department. It is styled after Italian renaissance fashion and houses marvelous antique pieces starting from 15th to 19th century.

Fashioned after the European racing tracks such as the one in Longchamps of France and others in England, Hialeah Park has some of the oldest and famous racing tracks. The Park was rechristened to add the splendor of native Floridian plants and animals in its garden. The garden has several lakes within it that have become the sanctuaries for the pink flamingoes.
